Product Information

  • Product Name
Human IFNAR1 (Fc Tag) recombinant protein
  • Documents
  • Description
Associates with IFNAR2 to form the type I interferon receptor. Receptor for interferons alpha and beta. Binding to type I IFNs triggers tyrosine phosphorylation of a number of proteins including JAKs, TYK2, STAT proteins and IFNR alpha- and beta-subunits themselves. Can also transduce IFNB signals without the help of IFNAR2, and not activating the Jak-STAT pathway.
  • Protein name
    Interferon alpha/beta receptor 1
  • Protein short names
    IFRC; IFN-ALPHA-REC; IFNBR; CRF2-1; IFNAR; INFAR; AVP; IFAR; CD118; IFN-R-1; IFNAR1
  • Uniprot ID
    P17181
  • Gene Name
    IFNAR1; IFNAR
  • Source/Expression Host
    Human Cells
  • Expression Plasmid/cDNA
A DNA sequence encoding the human IFNAR1 isoform 1 (P17181-1) extracellular domain (Met 1-Lys 436) was fused with the Fc region of human IgG1 at the C-terminus.
  • Protein Species
    Human
  • Molecular weight
The recombinant human IFNAR1/Fc is a disulfide-linked homodimeric protein. The reduced monomer consists of 650 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 74 kDa. The apparent molecular mass of the reduced monomer is approximately 100-120 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions due to glycosylation.
  • Purity
    > 88 % as determined by SDS-PAGE
  • Validations

Human IFNAR1 / IFNAR Protein (Fc Tag) SDS-PAGE

Human IFNAR1 / IFNAR Protein (Fc Tag) SDS-PAGE
