Validations
mouse pancreas tissue were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with Catalog No:116182(TMEM27 antibody) at dilution of 1:500
Immunofluorescent analysis of HepG2 cells, using TMEM27 antibody Catalog No:116182 at 1:25 dilution and Rhodamine-labeled goat anti-rabbit IgG (red). Blue pseudocolor = DAPI (fluorescent DNA dye).

Background
TMEM27(Transmembrane protein 27) is also named as collectrin and Belongs to the TMEM27 family .It is a stimulator of beta cell replicationa and a membrane protein cleaved and shed by pancreatic beta cells that has been proposed as a beta cell mass biomarker(PMID:20386877).Western blot analysis of mouse collecting duct cell lines detected Tmem27 at an apparent molecular mass of 32 kD(11278314).
