Western blot - Phospho-TBC1D4-S588 pAb
Western blot analysis of extracts of HeLa cells, using Phospho-TBC1D4-S588 antibody at 1:2000 dilution. HeLa cells were treated by IGF-1 (50ng/ml) for 30 minutes after serum-starvation overnight.Secondary antibody: HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at 1:10000 dilution.Lysates/proteins: 25ug per lane.Blocking buffer: 3% BSA.Detection: ECL Basic Kit .Exposure time: 30s.

Background
May act as a GTPase-activating protein for RAB2A, RAB8A, RAB10 and RAB14. Isoform 2 promotes insulin-induced glucose transporter SLC2A4/GLUT4 translocation at the plasma membrane, thus increasing glucose uptake.
