Product Information

  • Product Name
    Anti-IL23 antibody
  • Documents
  • Description
    Mouse monoclonal to IL23
  • Tested applications
    B/N
  • Species reactivity
    Human IL23A & Human IL12B Heterodimer
Has cross-reactivity with Cynomolgus IL-23 (IL12B & IL23A Heterodimer) Protein in ELISA assay
    No cross-reactivity with Mouse IL-23 (IL12B & IL23A Heterodimer) and Rat IL-23 (IL12B & IL23A Heterodimer) Protein in ELISA assay
  • Alternative names
    SGRF antibody; UNQ2498/PRO5798 antibody
  • Immunogen
  • Isotype
    mouse (varialbe region) / human (kappa/IgG1 c
  • Preparation
It is a chimeric monoclonal antibody combining the constant domains of the human IgG1 molecule with mouse variable regions. The variable region was obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, recombinant Human IL23A & Mouse IL12B Heterodimer. The antibody was produced using recombinant antibody technology.
  • Clonality
    Monoclonal
  • Formulation
0.2 μm filtered solution in Histidine and Arginine buffer containing 120mM NaCl, 0.02% Tween 80, pH6.0
  • Storage instructions
This antibody can be stored at 2℃-8℃ for one month without detectable loss of activity. Antibody products are stable for twelve months from date of receipt when stored at -20℃ to -80℃. Preservative-Free.
Sodium azide is recommended to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%-0.1%). It is toxic to cells and should be disposed of properly. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
  • Applications
Block - This antibody can block the binding of recombinant human IL23A & Mouse IL12B Heterodimer Protein to its recombinant receptor IL23A & Mouse IL12B HeterodimerR.
Neutralization - The neutralization activity of antibody is Measured by its ability to neutralize IL23induced IL17A secretion in mouse splenocytes. The Neutralization titer (IC50) is typically 10.015.0 ng/mL in the presence of 10 ng/mL Recombinant Human IL-23 and ConA (1 µg/mL).
  • Validations

    Human IL23A/p19 Neutralizing Antibody

    Human IL23A/p19 Neutralizing Antibody

IL17a secretion in the mouse splenocytes induced by 10 ng/mL of Recombinant Human IL23 (CT035-A99H) is neutralized by increasing concentrations of Human IL23a/p19 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog CT035-mh066), as measured by IL17a Quantitative ELISA Kit. The IC50 is typically 10.015.0 ng/mL.

  • Background
Associates with IL12B to form the IL-23 interleukin, a heterodimeric cytokine which functions in innate and adaptive immunity. IL-23 may constitute with IL-17 an acute response to infection in peripheral tissues. IL-23 binds to a heterodimeric receptor complex composed of IL12RB1 and IL23R, activates the Jak-Stat signaling cascade, stimulates memory rather than naive T-cells and promotes production of proinflammatory cytokines. IL-23 induces autoimmune inflammation and thus may be responsible for autoimmune inflammatory diseases and may be important for tumorigenesis.
