  • Description
    The DYKDDDDK peptide (peptide sequence: Asp-Tyr-Lys-Asp-Asp-Asp-Asp-Lys, including an enterokinase interface) has been specially developed for immunoaffinity chromatography. The peptide allows the competitive elution of proteins under mild, non-denaturating conditions. Various antibodies to the peptide have been developed. An antibody called M1 binds the peptide in the presence of bivalent metal ions, preferably Ca2+. Elution occurs by complexing agent Ca2+ or with an excess of free DYKDDDDK peptide.
