    Z-DEVD-AMC is a selective caspase-3 substrate. By measuring the fluorescence levels generated by the proteolytic cleavage of the Z-DEVD-AMC substrate, the caspase-3-like activity could be quantified, which helped to investigate whether the compounds induced a caspase-dependent apoptotic pathway in the cells.

  • About TFA salt

    Trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) is a common counterion from the purification process using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). The presence of TFA can affect the peptide's net weight, appearance, and solubility.
