Description
Active against E. coli (MIC 4 uM), P. aeruginosa (MIC 32 uM), S. aureus (MIC 32-64 uM), M. luteus (MIC 0.5 uM), and S. cerevisiae (MIC 32 uM), including parasite T. brucei. Toxic to erythrocytes (HC50 128 uM) and T-lymphocytes (IC50 16 uM). XPF-St1 (frog, amphibians, animals; UCLL1) has Antibacterial activity. XPF-St1 (frog, amphibians, animals; UCLL1) was found in the African clawed frog Silurana tropicalis.
