    S-thanatin (Ts) peptide is a short antimicrobial peptide (AMP) exhibiting lipopolysaccharide (LPS) binding affinity. The interaction between Ts and LPS promotes intercalation of Ts into the cytoplastic membrane, resulting in leaky cytoplastic membrane and disintegration of bacterial respiration and energization.
