  • Description
    Active against E. coli, S. dysgalactiae, S. agalactiae, S. aureus, and K. pneumoniae with MICs in the range of 24-42 ug/ml. At 60 ug/ml, the peptide showed about 1% hemolysis. Although not reported, the peptide is likely amidated at the C-terminus. Also provided by authors. Temporin-Ra has Antibacterial activity. Temporin-Ra was found in skin, Rana ridibunda, Asia.
