Recombinant Human Chemokine-like Protein TAFA-5 (Fragment 44-132) is a stable, soluble protein fragment designed for structural and functional studies. This product enables researchers to investigate TAFA-5's role in cell migration, proliferation regulation, and osteoclast formation inhibition through GPCR signaling pathways.
TAFA-5 is a secreted chemokine-like protein that regulates cell proliferation and migration through activation of G protein-coupled receptors including S1PR2 and FPR2. It stimulates macrophage chemotactic migration via MAPK3/ERK1 and AKT1 pathways while inhibiting TNFSF11/RANKL-induced osteoclast formation by suppressing osteoclast fusogenic and differentiation genes. As an adipokine, TAFA-5 negatively regulates vascular smooth muscle cell proliferation and migration in response to platelet-derived growth factor stimulation through S1PR2-mediated RHOA signaling.
