Description
This cyclic peptide suppresses significantly the circulating levels of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) in vivo in adult male rats. Thus this peptide, representing the carboxy-terminal region of HSPI, has inhibin-like activity and perhaps bears the active core of the protein.
