Description
This peptide is based on the sequence of a region of rat hepatic ribosomal protein S6 which contains the major phosphorylation site for cAMP-dependent protein kinase and one of the insulin-stimulated phosphorylation sites. It has been shown to be a substrate for cAMP-dependent protein kinase, for protein kinase C, and for the ribosomal protein S6 kinases (p70S6K and p85S6K isoforms, as well as insulin-stimulated p90rsk).
