    Active against only Gram-positive bacteria B. subtilis MTCC 619, S. epidermidis MTCC 435, M. smegmatis MTCC 6 and MRSA (MIC 10-45 ug/ml). Stable to heat (70oC, 1 h or autoclaving 121oC 15 min), trypsin,proteinase K and lipase enzymes. S. amritsarensis lipopeptide was found in Streptomyces amritsarensis.
