    Rothein 2.1 is a peptide found in the skin secretion of the Roth's tree frog Litoria rothii.
    It is part of a series of new peptides identified in the secretion, along with Rothein 1 and Rothein 3.
    Rothein 2.1 is classified as an inactive peptide, meaning it does not exhibit antimicrobial or neuronal nitric oxide synthase (nNOS) activity.
