    QP5 is an amelogenin-derived peptide comprising five Gln-Pro-X repeats (QPYQPVQPHQPMQPQ) and the C-terminus of amelogenin (TKREEVD), which has shown the ability to promote the remineralization of enamel caries in an in vitro pH-cycling system. Gln-Pro-X was highly conserved sequence in amelogenin in different species.
