  • Description
    Pal-KTTKS, a lipidated subfragment of type 1 pro-collagen (residues 212–216), plays a role in fibroblast contractility. Pal-KTTKS reduces α-SMA expression and trans-differentiation of fibroblasts to myofibroblast. KTTKS is a small, highly specific biologically active peptide which has been reported to produce stimulation of elastin and collagens, specifically types I and III.
