Description
Neuropeptide VF (NPVF, VPNLPQRF-NH₂) is an eight-amino-acid neuropeptide secreted by the human hypothalamus. It belongs to the NPFF neuropeptide family and is a highly selective ligand of NPFFR1, a Gi/o protein-coupled receptor located in the nervous system. NPVF plays a significant role in bone regeneration. In vitro studies have shown that it can promote the migration and angiogenesis of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs). It activates NPFFR1, leading to the upregulation of miR-181c-3p and downregulation of Argonaute1 (AGO1), which in turn promotes cell migration and angiogenesis. Additionally, NPVF mediates the osteogenic differentiation of bone mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) via the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway.

About TFA salt
Trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) is a common counterion from the purification process using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). The presence of TFA can affect the peptide's net weight, appearance, and solubility.
Impact on Net Weight: The TFA salt contributes to the total mass of the product. In most cases, the peptide content constitutes >80% of the total weight, with TFA accounting for the remainder.
Solubility: TFA salts generally enhance the solubility of peptides in aqueous solutions.
In Biological Assays: For most standard in vitro assays, the residual TFA levels do not cause interference. However, for highly sensitive cellular or biochemical studies, please be aware of its presence.
