    Dusquetide is a novel innate defense regulator (IDR) that modulates the innate immune system by binding to p62, a key adaptor protein downstream of innate immune sensing receptors such as toll-like receptors (TLRs). This modulation shifts cellular signaling from a pro-inflammatory response to an anti-inflammatory response while enhancing bacterial clearance and tissue healing. Dusquetide acts on both circulating and tissue-resident innate immune cells, making it effective even in immunosuppressed contexts.
