    The peptide Boc-Glu-Lys-Lys-AMC (tert-butoxycarbonyl-glutamic acid-lysine-lysine-amidomethylcoumarin) is a fluorogenic substrate used in assays to measure plasmin generation (PG). Boc-Glu-Lys-Lys-AMC is used to specifically detect plasmin activity and to provide information about the kinetics of plasmin generation during fibrinolysis. However, some assays using this substrate may have limitations, such as not correcting for substrate consumption or inner filter effects, or having issues with substrate specificity.
