Product Information

  • Product Name
Human CFL1 / cofilin (His Tag) recombinant protein
  • Documents
  • Description
Binds to F-actin and exhibits pH-sensitive F-actin depolymerizing activity. Regulates actin cytoskeleton dynamics. Important for normal progress through mitosis and normal cytokinesis. Plays a role in the regulation of cell morphology and cytoskeletal organization. Required for the up-regulation of atypical chemokine receptor ACKR2 from endosomal compartment to cell membrane, increasing its efficiency in chemokine uptake and degradation.
  • Protein name
    Cofilin-1
  • Protein short names
    HEL-S-15; COFILIN 1; COFILIN; COF; COFILIN-1; COFILIN 1 (NON-MUSCLE); 18 KDA PHOSPHOPROTEIN; NON-MUSCLE ISOFORM; P18; CFL1; CFL; NON-MUSCLE ISOFORM; N-COFILIN; AA959946; NON-MUSCLE
  • Uniprot ID
    P23528
  • Gene Name
    CFL1; CFL
  • Source/Expression Host
    E. coli
  • Expression Plasmid/cDNA
A DNA sequence encoding the human CFL1 (P23528) (Met1-Leu166) was expressed with a polyhistidine tag at the N-terminus.
  • Protein Species
    Human
  • Molecular weight
The recombinant human CFL1 consists of 181 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 20.3 KDa. It migrates as an approximately 21 KDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
