Zeocin Stock Solution Preparation and Recipe

To prepare L  Zeocin Stock Solution

1. Prepare 0.8 L of distilled water in a suitable container.
2. Add 100 g of Zeocin to the solution.
3. Add distilled water until the volume is 1 L.
4. Prewet a 0.22 µm syringe filter by drawing through 5-10 ml of sterile H2O and discard water. Sterilize Zeocin Stock through the prepared 0.22 µm syringe filter. Stock may be kept at -20°C for 1 year. Bacterial cells (E. Coli, etc): 25-50 µg/mL; Mamamlian Cells (cell line dependent): 50-400 µg/mL; For yeast, 100 µg/mL is sufficient.
