M9 Minimal Medium Preparation and Recipe

To prepare L  M9 Minimal Medium

Table 1. Recipe

1. Prepare 0.8 L of distilled water in a suitable container.
2. Add 4.967 g of Sodium chloride to the solution.
3. Add 0.246 g of Magnesium sulfate heptahydrate to the solution.
4. Add 2.993 g of Potassium dihydrogen phosphate to the solution.
5. Add 7.879 g of Sodium phosphate dibasic dodecahydrate to the solution.
6. Add distilled water until the volume is 1 L.
7. Autoclave for 15 min on liquid cycle. Store for up to 2 weeks at room temperature. Prewarm to the appropriate experimental temperature before use.
