IPTG Solution 1.0 M Preparation and Recipe

To prepare L  IPTG Solution 1.0 M

1. Prepare 0.8 L of distilled water in a suitable container.
2. Add 238.3 g of IPTG (isopropyl-β-D-thiogalactopyranoside) to the solution.
3. Add distilled water until the volume is 1 L.
4. Sterilize by passing it through a 0.22-µm disposable filter. Dispense the solution into 1-ml aliquots and store them at -20°C
