  1. Prepare 0.8 L of 95% ethanol in a suitable container.
  2. Add 20 g of Erythromycin to the solution.
  3. Add 95% ethanol until the volume is 1 L.
  4. Stock may be kept at -20C for 1 year. May crystallize when added to liquid culture. Still works. Selection strength may vary in non-model bacteria. Working Conc. = 20 µg/mL
