Background
UBE2U(Ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2 U) is also named as Ubiquitin carrier protein U, Ubiquitin-protein ligase U and belongs to the ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family.It Catalyzes the covalent attachment of ubiquitin to other proteins.It has 2 isoforms produced by alternative splicing with the molecular weight of 38 kDa and 27 kDa.
