Background
Scm like with four MBT domains protein 2 (SFMBT2) also named as KIAA1617 is a 894 amino acid protein, which contains one SAM domain and four MBT repeats. SFMBT2 localizes in nucleus and is a a transcriptional repressor of HOXB13 gene.
