  • Background
PCSK7(Proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 7) is also named as LPC, PC7, PC8, SPC7 and belongs to the peptidase S8 family. It has ubiquitous endoprotease activity within constitutive secretory pathways and capable of cleavage at the RXXX[KR]R consensus motif. The full length protein has 4 glycosylation sites ans it can be N-glycosylated.
